Résumé
'SMS' is a French comedy-drama directed by Gabriel Julien-Laferrière and released in 2014. The film follows the protagonist Laurent through an extraordinary bad day, as his life unravels in real-time due to a series of escalating, interconnected events triggered by a single text message received at the start of the day. While not much is mentioned about themes or context beyond the comedic premise of a man's descent into chaos, the film appears to be a commentary on how quickly one's life can change due to circumstances beyond our control.
