Ayelet Zurer, born on June 28, 1969, began her acting career in Israel, starring in various TV and film roles. She won awards for Best Actress at the Israeli Academy Awards (2003) and the Israeli Academy of Television (2006, 2013). Zurer transitioned to Hollywood, appearing in films like Munich (2005), Angels & Demons (2009), Man of Steel (2013), Ben-Hur (2016), and TV series Daredevil as Vanessa Marianna-Fisk (2015-2018).

Synopsis
The movie 'Fugitive Pieces' follows a child who escapes from Poland during World War II. He first finds refuge in Greece before eventually making his way to Canada where he grows up.

Résumé
Directed by Jeremy Podeswa and released in 2007, the film is a drama that centers around the journey of a young boy fleeing the atrocities of World War II Poland. The narrative covers his experiences in different stages of life across three countries: his childhood trauma in Poland during wartime, his refuge in Greece, and his eventual coming-of-age in Canada.
