Eszter Földes was born with an intellectual disability and lived in a remote village in eastern Hungary during her childhood and adolescence. She was raised by her brother Iván, who worked as a car mechanic and supplemented his income through smuggling diesel oil from Ukraine. Tragically, Eszter was raped, which had a profound impact on their lives. After this event, Iván began a relationship with Ilus, while simultaneously trying to improve their circumstances and potentially leave their old life behind.

Histoire
The movie 'Utolsó idök' follows Iván, a young car mechanic living in a remote village in eastern Hungary with his mentally disabled sister Eszter. Their peaceful life is shattered when Eszter is raped. A police investigation begins while Iván starts a relationship with Ilus, a young woman planning to go to university.
