Synopsis
Violetta, feeling restless in her life in Mexico, decides to flee to New York City with a bag full of money. There, she meets Pig, a writer desperate for an engaging story. Violetta approaches him and offers herself as his 'Diablo Guardián' (Guardian Devil), promising to live without boundaries or consequences, hoping to inspire him to write her story. As she navigates the city's underbelly, she becomes entangled with Nefas, a dangerous figure from whom she tries to escape in order to reclaim her freedom.

Diablo Guardián is a Mexican action drama series that premiered in 2018, directed by Batan Silva, Hiromi Kamata, Marc Vigil, and Rodrigo Santos. The story revolves around Violetta, a young woman seeking thrills and liberation outside of her mundane life in Mexico. She moves to New York City with a substantial amount of money and crosses paths with Pig, an aspiring writer eager for inspiration. Violetta's impulsive lifestyle leads her into precarious situations, ultimately entangling her with criminal elements represented by Nefas.
