Histoire
In spring of 1958, in a small Normandy village, 21-year-old Rose Pamphyle lives with her stern widower father who runs the local store. Engaged to the mechanic's son, she dreams of a more exciting life. When she travels to Lisieux for an interview at Louis Echard's insurance agency, she initially botches it but reveals her extraordinary typing speed. Intrigued, Louis offers her the job on condition that she competes in a national speed typing competition to boost his company's image. Despite initial reluctance, Rose agrees and Louis becomes her trainer. As they train together, romance blossoms between them. However, their relationship is complicated by Rose's engagement, Louis' competitive nature, and the looming national championship.
