Histoire

The movie 'Syn Królowey Sniegu' (2017) follows Marcin, a seven-year-old boy who runs away to the fantastical world of Hans Christian Andersen's stories after feeling neglected by his struggling single mother Anna. Anna, in her late twenties, is barely making ends meet with two jobs and has recently started seeing Kamil, whom she hopes will provide a better future for them. The film interweaves Marcin's imaginative escape into the land of fairy tales with Anna's real-life struggles and her relationship with Kamil.

Résumé

Directed by Robert Wichrowski, 'Syn Królowey Sniegu' (2017) is a modern take on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales, blending reality and fantasy to tell the story of Marcin, a lonely boy longing for warmth and attention from his overworked mother Anna. The film explores themes of love, loss, and the blurred line between reality and fantasy as seen through Marcin's eyes.
