Biographie complète
Léna Laprès was born in Paris, France, to a Canadian father (humanitarian and business lawyer) and a Chinese mother. She is fluent in English, French, Mandarin and Spanish. She practised ballet for thirteen years. Her older sister, Mei Mei Laprès is a fashion model. Léna dreamed of becoming a criminologist and initially studied law. After watching Al Pacino movies repeatedly, she soon realised she was more passionate about telling true crime stories than solving them. This led her to film school where she was encouraged to pursue acting. After graduating from the Sorbonne with a BA in Film Studies, she moved to London to train at RADA and has since worked as an actor in TV/Films and on stage. She interned as a personal assistant to Wes Anderson during the shooting of Isle of Dogs. She loves travelling and has backpacked solo worldwide including in Mexico, India, Peru, Columbia and Chile, countries in which she also hitch-hiked. Her international background and transatlantic accent are well-suited to fantasy and sci-fi projects, as shown by some of her credits: Theodosia (BBC), Osmosis (Netflix). More recent credits include Schlitter (OCS), Back To School (Netflix), and Incredible But True (Atelier de Production).

Résumé
Osmosis is a French sci-fi drama series set in Paris in an unspecified near future. The story revolves around the dating app 'Osmosis' which uses brain data to match singles with their soulmates. The series explores themes of love, obsession, and the consequences of technological advancements on human behavior. While not much context is provided about the world outside Osmosis, it seems to be a cautionary tale about the dangers of relying too heavily on technology for emotional connections.
