Biographie complète
A classically trained actress, Sarah has worked on both stage and screen, most famously playing lead roles in films, Ten Little Indians - (Donald Pleasance, Herbert Lom, Frank Stallone) and The River of Death - (Robert Vaughan, Donald Pleasance, L. Q. Jones, Michael Dudikoff) amongst others. Following 3 years at drama school (late '80s) she worked first in Theatre (Love off the shelf - Nuffield Southampton; The School for Scandal - Plymouth Theatre Royal; The Importance of Being Earnest - Cathay Pacific touring theatre company), and enjoyed roles in popular 1990s TV sit-coms, notably Law and Disorder - (Penelope Keith), and Freddie and Max (Anne Bancroft). After a (long!) sabbatical from acting, during which she saw her two boys safely into teenage neanderthalism, (they're still there) and formed her Jazz/Blues quintet called, imaginatively - The Sarah Ward Jazz Quintet, Sarah has delightedly returned to her first passion - acting and being someone else! In 2019 Sarah starred in the multi award-winning Indie feature film, 'You Won't Remember Me', for which she won 'Best Actress in an Independent Film' at the New York Film Awards. The statue sits proudly on her dresser but she forgets to dust it. Most recently, she loved playing the 'baddie' role of 'Blair' in the 2022 feature - Memories of Another (West East Pictures - Amazon Prime), and The Therapist in film-short (trilogy) - A Dark Mind (2023 - Hush Puppy Productions, in post-production). She's absolutely delighted to be working with Skooch Media on their new spooky epic - The Presence of Snowgood, and is having a total blast! It's good to be back!
