Rebecca is an actor, writer, director and producer. Born and raised in NYC with parents from Colombia and Germany-- she grew up in a vibrant household speaking German, Spanish, and English. Her most notable role was on Orange Is the New Black , as a recurring Guest Star in seasons 6 and 7, portraying Tina Swope. She most recently starred in a leading role alongside Chloe Levine in the feature film, 'Birdsong', premiering at Cinequest in March 2025. A career highlight was being featured in Bob Dylan's "Shadow Kingdom" directed by Alma Har'el. She has written, starred in, and produced two short films, 'Cavity' and 'Woman To Woman'. Cavity has screened at festivals internationally, winning 'Best Actress' at Blackbird Film Festival and EHTVF, and 'Best Short Film at EHTVF. 'Woman To Woman' has screened in Manchester, London, New York, Moscow, Bucharest, Los Angeles, and Santa Fe. She acted in her first feature film alongside Stellan Skarsgård and Nina Hoss in Academy Award Winning Director Volker Schlöndorff's latest film, 'Return To Montauk', released internationally in 2017. When she's not working, she loves spending time with her dog, Elvis, cooking, activism, painting, and takes herself on a date to the Met Opera at least once a year. Rebecca now resides in Brooklyn, NY.
