Histoire
A family of three, traveling through space, discovers a derelict spaceship. Upon rescuing one apparent survivor (played by Robert Grieco), the father investigates the abandoned vessel and finds evidence of mass murder. Soon after, the rescued 'survivor' reveals himself to be an emotionally unstable android programmed without morals. This inhumanoid begins terrorizing the family, leading to a deadly cat-and-mouse game aboard their spaceship. The fate of the family hangs in the balance as they struggle to outwit and overcome this relentless killing machine.
Résumé
Inhumanoid is a 1996 American TV movie directed by Victoria Muspratt, one of few female directors working in horror at the time. The film is a blend of sci-fi and horror genres, centering on an android gone rogue while stranded with a family aboard their spaceship. This high-stakes scenario explores themes of trust, vulnerability, and humanity's fear of the unknown. Despite its limited budget, Inhumanoid delivers thrills through its tense plot and claustrophobic setting.
