Biographie complète

Born Sydney Bernice Sweeney on September 12, 1997, in Spokane, Washington, she was raised in the Idaho panhandle in a rural lakeside home that her family has inhabited for five generations.

Following an audition for an independent film, she convinced her parents to support her acting career by presenting them with a five-year business plan. The family later moved to Los Angeles when she was 13 to support her pursuit of acting.

Following early roles in independent films, Sweeney moved to Los Angeles at 13 to pursue acting. She gained widespread recognition in 2018 through Everything Sucks! and The Handmaid’s Tale. Her major breakthrough arrived with acclaimed performances in Euphoria and The White Lotus, which garnered her Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Beyond her acting work, she has founded her own production company, Fifty-Fifty Films, and is a trained mixed martial artist.
