Sylvia Schmid (professionally known as Sylvie Bertin) is a German actress and choreographer. Born in Munich, Germany, in 1967, she began her artistic education in 1986 at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. She later specialized in choreography and direction at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, completing her studies in 1998.
Bertin is recognized for her role in the TV movie "Das Glück ihres Lebens" (2003) and has contributed as a choreographer to the film Was nützt die Liebe in Gedanken. Since 1992, she has owned and operated the Kleine Nachtrevue in Berlin, where she remains active as a dancer and singer.

Histoire
Maria, a divorced florist, falls in love with Holger whose young son died two years ago in an accident caused by a hit-and-run driver. Maria also has a grown son, Niklas, a talented pianist on the brink of a promising career. However, as Maria grows closer to Holger, she begins to uncover secrets about Niklas' past that suggest he may have been involved in her lover's son's death. Niklas had abandoned his musical career two years ago due to an unexplained trauma, and Maria starts to suspect that this trauma might be connected to the hit-and-run accident.
