Résumé
Marerittet is a Norwegian psychological horror film directed by Kjersti Helen Rasmussen in her feature debut. Set against the atmospheric backdrop of Bergen, the movie explores themes of mental health, fear, and the unsettling power of dreams. The narrative centers on sleep paralysis, a phenomenon where individuals temporarily lose the ability to move their muscles during wakefulness or while falling asleep, often accompanied by terrifying hallucinations. Marerittet brings this frightening condition to life through its protagonist's harrowing journey, offering a unique blend of drama, horror, mystery, and thriller elements.
