Full Biography
Branka Pujic, a Serbian actress, notably starred in the 1990 film 'Sveto mesto'. The movie is based on Nikolai Gogol's 'Viy', but director Emir Kusturica adapted and enriched the story with a new backstory for the witch-girl Catherine and her father. Pujic played the role of Catherine, who is killed unwittingly in the prologue and referred to as a 'saint'. The film explores dark eroticism and horror elements.
