Angeliqa Devi is a Canadian-British actress of South Asian origin known for her prominent roles in international film and television productions. Born in England to Bengali parents, she moved to Canada at a young age and pursued an early interest in acting. After obtaining a degree in modern history and a PhD in genocide studies from University College London, Devi transitioned fully into her acting career, splitting her time between Italy and the UK.
Her notable roles include playing the powerful patrician Caltonia in Roland Emmerich's Roman epic Those About to Die, which also stars Sir Anthony Hopkins. Devi has also appeared in the Emmy-winning drama Succession, the refugee thriller Unwanted, and Liliana Cavani's film The Order of Time, which premiered at the 80th Venice International Film Festival. She is currently filming the remake of the classic pirate series Sandokan.
