Asami Sugiura, born in Japan, began her career at age nineteen when she starred in 'Kiss Me Or Kill Me'. She worked various jobs before being introduced to the movie industry by a friend. Initially working in exploitation, adult, and gravure films, she gained attention for her roles in 'Machine Girl' films. She met director Iguchi Noboru in 2007 and appeared in several of his films. In 2008, she announced her transition to mainstream films but continued to take on provocative roles. Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival awarded her a special performance award in 2014. Asami is known for her intense gaze, liberated wiles, and affinity for reptiles, watching films, karaoke, piano, and saxophone.
