Bernadette Perez, born in East Chicago to Native American and Mexican heritage, began her acting career at age 12 on stage. She played Edna Arkins in Lynda Barry's 'The Good Times Are Killing Me'. After winning the Original Oratory Optimist Speech Contest, she pursued acting professionally, working in events like pARTners Performing For Life to raise HIV/AIDS awareness. Moving to New York and later Los Angeles, Perez landed roles in films like 'Meet the Fockers' and 'War of The Worlds', as well as numerous independent films for SyFy Channel, Amazon, Netflix, and TV series like 'Boystown'. She actively advocates for LGBTQ+ equality, at-risk youth, and diversity in film. Perez has studied various acting techniques under renowned professionals.
