"Born with dual German and Italian heritage, Chiara Schoras initiated her acting career through roles in TV series such as 'Girl Friends', 'Alphateam – Die Lebensretter im OP', and 'First Love – Die grosse Liebe'. These led to a prominent part in the acclaimed made-for-TV romance 'Picknick im Schnee', where she portrayed a suicidal young woman who helps herself and another man rediscover life after his wife's infidelity. In 1999, Chiara debuted cinematically in Rainer Matsuani’s 'Romantic Fighter' and subsequently appeared in films like 'Honolulu' and 'Vaya Con Dios'. The latter earned her the Bavarian Film Award for Best Young Actress in 2002.
Multilingual in Italian, English, and German, Chiara has recently focused on advancing her international career. She starred in her first Italian film, 'Giravolte', and the German-Canadian-British co-production 'The Cat’s Meow', opposite Kirsten Dunst and directed by Peter Bogdanovich.
Notably, Chiara's balanced European heritage is reflected in her openness to nudity in her roles.
