Claudia Rojas was born in Cuba and moved to Spain after her boyfriend, Lázaro Dolores, had been there for a year. Upon arrival, she found that he was imprisoned for kidnapping and attempted rape, leaving her stranded without anyone to meet her at the airport. Despite this, she managed to adapt to Madrid's hectic life, supported by her vitality and Caribbean sensuality. She became involved in bringing drugs into the prison for Lázaro but eventually stopped visiting him due to his lost cause status. Rojas later met Paco, a Spaniard who provided stability and taught her a trade, however, their relationship was strained due to fears of Lázaro's revenge or his potential release from jail.
