Guiomar Puerta, born in Spain, was a key figure in introducing pop music to her country during the 1960s. Trained at the Music Conservatory, she led a new musical movement alongside her boss Guillermo Rojas and Roberto, a young singer discovered at El Price's 'Matinales'.
