Born on October 6, 1986, in The Hague, Isis Cabolet has established herself as a versatile force in the Dutch entertainment industry as an actress, director, and screenwriter. She began her professional journey at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Maastricht (Toneelacademie), graduating in 2011 after participating in numerous stage productions. Her early acting career saw her feature in prominent Dutch films and television series, including the 2013 interactive thriller App, the drama Komt een vrouw bij de dokter (Love Life), and the crime series Van God Los. International audiences may also recognize her from her role as Anne in the Netflix series Keizersvrouwen (Women of the Night).
In recent years, Cabolet has successfully expanded her creative reach into writing and directing. This transition was marked by immediate critical acclaim; her directorial debut short film, FCK MY LIFE* (2021), received a nomination for Best Debut at the Netherlands Film Festival. She followed this success with the short musical Diep in de Nacht (2022) and the award-winning short Gleuf (2024), which took home the Audience Award at Shortcutz Amsterdam.
