Peregrinação (2017) is a historical drama that brings to life the voyages of 16th-century Portuguese explorer and writer Fernão Mendes Pinto, one of the first Europeans to sail to and travel through India, Japan, and other places in the Orient during his time. The film's soundtrack features choral renditions of progressive 80's pop songs from Portuguese singer-songwriter Fausto's album 'Por Este Rio Acima', adding inspiration to this period piece.
