Kim Gyu-Sun, initially a respected economics professor at Seoul National University who gained public admiration through his TV debate appearance and heroic act of saving a burning man, decides to enter politics and oversee the creation of a social bank. Meanwhile, his wife Oh Soo-yeon, deputy director of an art gallery, aims for her manager's position and engages in an affair with photographer Shin Ji-ho to curry favor with high society. Both spouses strive to infiltrate elite circles despite the consequences.
