Lea Freund starred in 'Zwischen uns die Mauer' (2019), playing Anna, a 16-year-old girl from West Germany who falls in love with Philipp during a trip to East Berlin in 1984. Despite their families' disapproval and the surveillance of the Stasi, they maintain contact through letters and secret meetings, planning for Philipp's escape from East Berlin.
