"Introduced to fame in Hollywood during the late 1960s, Marilyn Hassett began her career in 1969 with an uncredited role in 'They Shoot Horses, Don't They?' Following this, she appeared in various TV shows such as 'Emergency!', 'The Six Million Dollar Man', and 'Movin' On'. However, it was her breakout performance in the feature film 'The Other Side of the Mountain' (1975) that brought her widespread recognition. For her portrayal of paralyzed ski champion Jill Kinmont, Hassett won a Golden Globe for Best Acting Debut in a Motion Picture.
Subsequently, she starred alongside Charlton Heston and John Cassavetes in the action film 'Two-Minute Warning' (1976). She then returned to dramatic roles, playing Esther Greenwood in the adaptation of Sylvia Plath's 'The Bell Jar' (1979), which included a nude debut. In the horror flick 'The Eleventh Commandment' (1986), she appeared in several sexy and revealing scenes while wearing pink neglige.
After 2008, Hassett seems to have stepped away from acting, with no credited films since then. Fans eagerly await her return to the screen."
