Merideth Kennedy is an American actress primarily known for her appearances in independent cult cinema during the early 1980s. She gained her most enduring recognition for her role in the 1985 anthology horror film
Night Train to Terror, where she is credited as the "Dead Redhead."
Her performance originally belonged to a 1983 production titled Scream Your Head Off (also known as The Dark Side of Love). When that project remained unreleased in its full form, the footage was re-edited to serve as the first segment of Night Train to Terror, titled "The Case of Harry Billings." In this surreal and macabre sequence, Kennedy portrays one of the unfortunate victims within a sinister asylum where patients are harvested for their organs.
Beyond her work in the horror genre, Kennedy appeared in the 1983 film Erotic Images, starring Britt Ekland. Although her filmography is concise, her contribution to Night Train to Terror has earned her a permanent place in the history of 80s exploitation and cult horror cinema.
