Monika Lundi (August 22, 1942 – February 26, 2025) was a German television and film actress who gained prominence in the late 1960s and 1970s. She originally trained as a graphic designer at the Berlin University of the Arts and worked as a photo model before being discovered for acting. Lundi became widely known to television audiences for her leading role in the eleven-part series Von Liebe keine Rede (1971). Her film credits include the popular Heimatfilm Grün ist die Heide (1972), in which she starred alongside Roy Black, and roles in productions such as Babeck (1968) and Zuckerbrot und Peitsche (1968). Throughout her career, she appeared in numerous German television series, including Tatort, SOKO München, and Der Bulle von Tölz. Lundi was married three times, including to actor Horst Janson from 1973 to 1976, and to actor Hans Stetter from 1989 until his death in 2019. Monika Lundi died in Munich at the age of 82 from pneumonia.
