Standing 5' 4" (1.63 m) tall, Diakova first gained notable exposure through Russian television, appearing as a secretary in the series Uboynaya sila (2000) and later as Lyudmila in Russkie v Gorode Angelov (Russians in the City of Angels) in 2003. Her film career is best defined by her role as Mina in the 2008 horror-fantasy Blood Scarab, where she portrayed a victim of the vampire Countess Elizabeth Bathory.
