Regine Doreen, born in East Berlin, rose to prominence as the lead singer of a band aiming to break into the local music scene. Throughout her time with the band, she felt disconnected from both the audience and her personal life. She entered into a relationship with Ralph, an amateur saxophonist and philosopher who wrote her a deeply personal song but struggled with obsessive behaviors and infidelity. After conflicts within the band - including an altercation with a bandmate and a disagreement with a show host - Regine was expelled from the group. Following this expulsion, she faced challenges in regaining control over her life.
