Senta Berger, born May 13, 1941 in Vienna, Austria, is an acclaimed Austrian-German actress known for her versatile roles across film, stage, and television. Often hailed as one of the greatest post-war actresses and leading German-speaking actresses, she has been recognized with numerous awards including three Bambi Awards and two Romys. Berger married director Michael Verhoeven in 1966, with whom she has two sons, Simon and Luca, both actors themselves.
