Born as Shannon O'Brien on February 5, 1987, in Holland, Pennsylvania, USA, Shannon James rose to fame as an American model and actress. She was discovered by a scout for Playboy magazine after her best friend submitted her photos to The Howard Stern Show. This led to her being named Playmate of the Month for the May 2007 issue. During her rise to stardom, she was a student at the University of Central Florida and a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.
