Full Biography

Susana Zabaleta Ramos, born in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, is a renowned Mexican singer and actress. She began her career interpreting opera performances like 'La Traviata' in 1986. In 1987, she debuted on stage with musicals such as 'El violinista en el tejado'. She recorded her first album '¿O fué un sueño?' in 1995 and sang the Spanish version of Disney's 'Pocahontas' in 1996. Zabaleta started acting in telenovelas in 1993, with her film debut in 'Sobrenatural' (1996), directed by her husband Daniel Gruener. She won a Silver Ariel Award for Best Actress for her role in 'Sexo, pudor y lagrimas' (1998). In recent years, she has collaborated with composer Armando Manzanero and hosted her own TV show, 'Susana Adicción', on Unicable channel in 2011.
