Biographie complète
Born as Jacqueline Ann Elaine Jefcoate on March 6, 1953, in London, England, Suzy Mandel began her journey into the spotlight at a young age. She grew up across several locations in the UK, including the Isle of Sheppey in Kent and various towns in Essex like Epping and Woodford. At just 13, she enrolled at the London Academy of Modeling, a move that launched her successful early career as a model for coats and lingerie. During this time, she earned several prestigious titles, including Miss Teenage London and Miss TV Times 1974, and appeared as a popular Page 3 girl in The Sun.
Her transition into acting occurred in 1976 with her film debut in the erotic comedy Intimate Games. This performance caught the eye of legendary comedian Benny Hill, who personally recruited her for his world-famous sketch show. Throughout the late 1970s, Mandel became a staple of the British sex comedy genre, starring in films such as Confessions of a Driving Instructor and Come Play with Me. After marrying film financier Stanley Margolis in 1981, she moved to the United States, where she eventually transitioned away from show business to pursue a career in nursing.
