Vanessa del Rio was a pornographic actress who began her career in 1975 and worked for 24 years until 1999. Born to Puerto Rican and Cuban American heritage, she was bisexual and went by several stage names including Vanessa del Rio, Ursula Passarell, and Nessa among others. She played the role of Cristine in 'Woman in Love: A Story of Madame Bovary' (1978), a film about sexual liberation and self-discovery.
