In a dystopian future where Unicom, a powerful organization, oversees most of the world and has banned computers and robots in pursuit of economic stability, a Unicom Synth robot infiltrates a remote southwest TV station broadcasting anti-Unicom messages. After killing the manager who is a known revolutionary against Unicom's gestapo-like rule, the rebels at the station must defend themselves against this android assassin to survive through an impending 'thermal storm'.
