Katherine Marie Heigl, born on November 24, 1978, is an American actress and former fashion model. She began her career as a child model but shifted her focus to acting, making her film debut in 'That Night' (1992). Her notable roles include Dr. Izzie Stevens in 'Grey's Anatomy' (2005-2010), for which she won an Emmy Award in 2007, and Isabel Evans in 'Roswell' (1999-2002). She has appeared in several successful romantic comedies such as 'Knocked Up' (2007) and '27 Dresses' (2008), as well as other films like 'Zyzzyx Road' (2006) and 'Unforgettable' (2017).
