Laurence Treil starred as Arsène Muselier in 'La Vouivre' (1989). The film follows Arsène's return to his home village after World War I, where he becomes fascinated with local legend La Vouivre, a marsh-dwelling woman surrounded by vipers. One day, Arsène sees this mysterious woman and is enchanted by her.
